Year after year, on March 8th, Laura Canada comes up with creative ways to celebrate International Women’s Day. By distinguishing both brands through their own campaigns—Laura and Melanie Lyne—two inspiring concepts are showcased in a very different way.

With a tagline representing the message so well: Together let’s celebrate International Women’s Day, the brand highlighted loyalty & dedication from groups of women who have been with the company for more than 8, 15, and 20 years. This retailer recognizes that long-time employees contribute to the success of a company more than they know, and this was the perfect opportunity to let them know just how much they are appreciated. They also wanted to underline the amazing family who have made the brand what it is today.
Melanie Lyne
The campaign featured a video of female employees expressing what it means to be a woman. We hear the words passionate, brilliant, inspiring, empowered, accomplished in 7 different languages. The montage ended with the tagline “United in what makes us different.” A truly moving display of women coming together.
Laura Canada has been empowering women since 1930, and maintains that when a woman feels good, there is no limit to what she can achieve. And most importantly, they remind us that what brings us together as women is stronger than our differences.
