Laura Canada recently lent its support to the John Molson Undergraduate Case Competition (JMUCC) – the largest international event of its kind. The week-long gathering, which took place from February 24 to March 2, brought together 24 distinguished business schools from 13 countries. Melanie Lyne had the pleasure of outfitting two passionate members of the organizing committee – Julia Wheeler and Patricia Rabion.
The annual competition, run by a dedicated team of students from the John Molson School of Business, took place in downtown Montreal and covered four challenging cases from different industries and disciplines. The unique experience allowed competitors to apply what they learned in the classroom to real-life business situations, as they delved into issues pertaining to accounting, banking and the retail and railway industries. Participating universities also had the opportunity to partake in social activities throughout the week.
As for business attire, Wheeler and Rabion definitely looked the part in expertly styled outfits from Melanie Lyne. Dressed in a peach pink monochromatic suit and a Glen plaid ensemble, respectively, the two committee members were appropriately outfitted for the live case presentations and networking events. Wheeler even had the chance to don a stunning velvet dress from Melanie Lyne.
As a proud supporter of the competition and the future business leaders of tomorrow, Laura Canada featured fashion ads for Laura and Melanie Lyne in the JMUCC’s program booklet and showcased a memorable video from their prom campaign.
Laura Canada was among a large group of well-known companies that endorsed the event.
