Virginia, customer experience leader at Vaughan Mills, Ontario
Virginia took it upon herself to swiftly and successfully climb the ladder at Laura. Starting off as a service coordinator, she grew into her current position as the customer experience leader at Vaughan Mills.
How would you describe working at Laura Canada?
It’s been a very positive experience! The company prides itself on treating employees like their number one asset. They also provide excellent training, which I have experienced first-hand with our great management development program. Laura is constantly evolving with new programs, technology and ideas to inspire our clientele and associates.
What aspect of your job do you enjoy the most?
One aspect I enjoy the most is ensuring a positive customer experience for all clients. Nothing feels better than seeing a customer come in and leave with pieces she is excited to incorporate into her wardrobe. It is also wonderful to see a growing base of loyal customers, who enjoy returning to the store.
What is your must-have clothing item during the holidays?
This year, my go-to favourites are our vegan leather pieces, including our stylish vegan leather leggings and jackets. These versatile pieces will come in handy for any last-minute holiday event that may come your way. They’re indispensable in any wardrobe!
Patricia, store manager at RioCan Langley Centre, British Columbia
Since 2008, Patricia has been responsible for the Laura store in the RioCan shopping mall in Langley, a suburb of Vancouver.
How would you describe working at Laura Canada?
Laura Canada is such a big name in Canadian retail, so it’s been a privilege to be a part of the team.
What aspect of your job do you enjoy the most?
I’m certainly never bored at the job because I’m always overlooking different and exciting tasks. However, what I enjoy first and foremost is building strong relationships with the customers, and making sure they find the perfect outfit for all their important occasions.
What is your must-have clothing item during the holidays?
I have to pick, both faux suede and animal prints. I like to accent them with great accessories.

Known for her positive energy and eagerness to help her clients, Claudia celebrated 10 years with Laura Canada last March.
How would you describe working at Laura?
It’s truly fulfilling! I feel like I am part of a big family. It’s always rewarding to work in such a welcoming environment.
What aspect of your job do you enjoy most?
Making sure our customers are satisfied, going above and beyond their expectations and taking the time to listen and talk to them. We have amazing customers!
