The end of summer means another year of hard work, before jumping into the busy fall/winter season. On Friday, August 29, the sun was shining and our head office employees got a sweet treat from Prickell’s ice cream truck in honour of Employee Appreciation Day. A true delight to thank all employees for their hard work and effort throughout the year. Because, who doesn’t love ice cream?
Everyone received a ticket to redeem their free ice cream, the only difficult part was choosing a flavour. This was a great way to gather everyone and show appreciation for our hardworking employees, it also allowed an opportunity for everyone to get to know each other better. It was really important for the employees to feel appreciated and recognized, for their dedication and commitment to the company. The ice cream truck turned out to be a great success, everyone was pleased to get a delicious surprise from Prickell’s ice cream, and feel acknowledged as hard working employees. This is an important part of our company culture, as it celebrates the people who keep the company running.
As summer came to an end, we took the time to savour a sweet moment together, as a team, enjoying the warm weather, soaking up the last bit of sunshine. Pickrell’s has been scooping ice cream for families since 1983, they serve a delicious range of flavours of hard ice creams, yogurt or sorbet.
