What better way to get to know your fellow co-workers than a rad Halloween costume party. It’s a great opportunity for fostering a festive, friendly, and fun environment in the office.
Does dressing up evoke a feeling of discomfort? You haven’t seen anything yet. This year, our head office held an annual Halloween Costume Contest and the team pulled all the stunts to rank up those points.
Get ready to be spooked! Everyone was encouraged to get creative and be original. Costume categories included funniest, most original, scariest, most sophisticated, most creative and overall best of the best.
The funniest costume went to Rafi, our graphic design specialist, dressed up as Forrest Gump—he was barely recognizable!
The winner for the most creative costume went to Catherine, our receptionist. She made Alice Through The Looking Glass look average beside her. Definitely gets an A for effort.
In addition to the costume contest, the team also held a pumpkin carving contest in which the most creative department won a prize. All members were sent an email with the carved pumpkins, where they had to submit their favourite, based on creativity and originality.
Here were some of the top picks:
The winner for best original pumpkin, drum roll please…
The Cinderella-inspired pumpkin ranked up the most votes—a true team effort indeed. The castle shaped pumpkin was carved to perfection and its crystal details and crown really made the Cinderella theme come to life.
Not only were the Halloween contests a total hit, they were also a fun and unique way to collaborate together as a team, and help build relationships with co-workers we would otherwise never cross paths with. After all, Halloween without costumes would be like a birthday without a cake.
