September is, without a doubt, one of the trickiest months of the year to dress up. However, throughout the entire month, Laura and Melanie Lyne were in the spotlight for the transitional season. From print magazines and blogs to local events, our fall favourites were highlighted.
September always feels like a time for new beginnings! On September 7 and 9, Québécois style expert, Claude Laframboise, shared his fashion expertise by featuring Laura and Melanie Lyne pieces in Magazine Véro. The face behind the lifestyle magazine is French-Canadian actress and presenter, Véronique Cloutier. As for Laframboise, he has garnered a lot of success in the fashion world.
On September 7, Laframboise took to Magazine Véro to present his choices for fall essentials. In his article, he displayed one of Melanie Lyne’s stunning pieces that made his top 30 list. With a keen eye for fashion, Laframboise featured an on-trend Melanie Lyne animal print dress, not only in his article, but as one of the feature images.
On September 9, the fashion connoisseur recognized Laura for one of its many unique qualities. He published an article on fall fashion, remembering to include women of all shapes and sizes. He solely focused on the most reputable online boutiques to find trendy clothing for plus size women. Laframboise selected one of Laura’s divisions, Laura Plus, as an excellent choice. In his article, he featured an alluring look from our fall campaign that was made up of these three items: a belted tunic blouse, slim leg pants designed by Joseph Ribkoff and a flapover handbag.
For the month of September, Melanie Lyne was popular with the blog, Le Cahier. Marie-Chloé Falardeau, who is the editor-in-chief, was the first to show some love for Melanie Lyne, when she donned our versatile and timeless polka dot print jumpsuit by Maggy London. The playful fashionista, who loves to share her style tips and tricks, featured our jumpsuit on a blog post. She let followers in on a secret and informed them that a jumpsuit can be worn numerous ways.
Camille Dg, known as an entrepreneur, TV host and blogger, dedicated two blog posts to Melanie Lyne.
On September 28, the trendsetter showed readers how to rock some red for the autumnal season. She highlighted a pair of classic red pants paired with a crisp white blouse and gave valuable tips on how to make them both a wardrobe staple. On September 29, Camille showed even more support for Melanie Lyne in another informative article on pants. Camille focused on our brand and emphasized all its values! She modellea pair of trendy & lightweight Melanie Lyne pants and made the style her own. She looked confident and vibrant in all our items. Mostly, she reinforced that the Melanie Lyne brand is for women of all ages – for women who appreciate elegance and femininity.
For the fashion world, the month of September is like the Holy Grail. When it comes to social media influencers, their Instagram pages are bombarded with September looks before summer even collapses into fall.
Anna Przezak, who is a fashion, beauty and lifestyle blogger, is a prominent social media figure in the fashion world – specifically in Montreal and Toronto. Przezak, who is socially conscious, does not run your typical fashion blog. As a woman, she believes in vouching for all lifestyles! The fashionista mostly posts looks to guide the professional woman who spends her days in the office.
During the month of September, Przezak posted a Melanie Lyne “outfit of the day” look on Working Chix. Pleased with the versatility of our turtleneck sweater, pencil skirt and faux suede redingote jacket, she emphasized how all our pieces can be mixed and matched. Take a look at the post on her Instagram.
Mitsou, who is a well-known Canadian pop singer, is also quite the fashion extraordinaire. With Mitsou Magazine, she is able to translate her passion for fashion into words.
On September 17, Les Relookeuses wrote an article for the online magazine on tunics, just in time for the cooler temperatures. Because Mitsou is a huge fan of tunics, the fashion stylist team informed readers how to effortlessly choose the right tunic. Les Relookeuses posted Instagram photos of tunics they loved most, and two of our stunning Melanie Lyne items were selected among other designer pieces.
Mitsou – OSM Opening
On September 17, French-Canadian television host, Mitsou, attended the opening of the 2019-2020 Montreal Symphony Orchestra. With her undeniable sense of fashion, Mitsou styled herself in a bold and daring little black dress from Melanie Lyne that was designed by Joseph Ribkoff. She was a showstopper!
Gracing the pages of TV Hebdo was a real honour! The television magazine has been around since 1960, and the content creator for TVA Publications, Carolyne Marengo, featured an item by Laura on September 28.
With the fall season, one should opt for knits, jumpers and wooly textures, but stay on trend, too. That being said, Marengo, wrote up an article on how to play with animal prints for autumn. She featured a photo of a Laura model posing in our stylish mixed animal print sweater, and we love her choice!
